This specimen was lot 14 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 4,000 CHF (about US$4,748 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN TUNIS | Ahmed III (1115-1143ah/1703-1730ce) sultani 1137ah (1724ce) AU RRR vf+." This type was struck AH 1117-24, 1137 in the name of Ahmed III in Constantinople. It is very rare in nice condition as nearly all of these hammered gold coins have been holed.
