This specimen was lot 33914 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic silver Proof Piefort 5 Dinars 1982-CHI PR67 Ultra Cameo NGC, Valcambi mint. A flawless and glossy offering of this commemorative strike issued to celebrate the International Year of the Child and UNICEF." This type was issued to honor UNICEF and the International Year of the Child along with a gold 75 dinars (KM 317).
Recorded mintage: 1,108 in 0.925 fine silver, 21 in 0.900 fine silver and 96 pieforts.
