Steve Album sale 54, lot 1234

This specimen was lot 1234 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "TUNISIA: Ali III, 1882-1902, AR 50 centimes, 1895-A/AH1313, mintage of only 1,000, a very rare date, XF, ex Künker Auction 165, Lot 1243 (March 2010), ex Stack's Bowers Galleries Sale 159, Lot 10651 (March 2011), ex Stephen Album Price List #276 (June 2013). This is the only example present on CoinArchives." This type was struck at Paris 1891-1902 altho only the 1891 was struck in sufficient quantity to circulate.

Recorded mintage: 1,000.

Specification: 2.50 g, 0.835 fine silver.
