SB225-76825r.jpg

This specimen was lot 76825 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "TRISTAN DA CUNHA. Palladium 5 Pounds, 2010. Elizabeth II. PCGS GEM PROOF Deep Cameo. Mintage: A very SCARCE Palladium issue, with a beautiful theme and nearly flawless proof appeal." This NCLT was made and sold in Great Britain and it seems unlikely that any made it to the windswept island of Tristan Da Cunha in the south Atlantic. The significance of the dates on the reverse is not explained.

Recorded mintage: 399.

Specification: 28.34 g, 0.999 fine palladium.

Catalog reference: Fr-9, KM 81.
