This specimen was lot 1856 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "TRIPOLI: Mehmet IV, 1648-1687, AR beshlik, Tarabulus Gharb, ND, VF-XF, ex Ken Bovenkamp Collection." Tripoli, now part of Libya, was one of the Barbary States preying on commerce plying the Mediterranean. This type is listed for AH 1059. The subsequent issue (KM 9.2) is dated AH 1083.
