This specimen was lot 42315 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $2,340. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Travancore. 1/4 Pagoda, ND (1870-1931). Rama Varma VI. NGC MS-66. Tulabraham medallic presentation coinage which was distributed to the Brahmins during the weighing in ceremony of the Maharajah. Very sharply struck and enchanting, this Superb Gem is RARELY encountered so attractive, with rich golden color throughout and a die crack running across the obverse for added character." The king also struck half, one and two pagodas, also undated.
