This specimen was lot 3005 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €4,400 (about US$5,930 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BELGIEN, TOURNAI, Albert und Isabella von Spanien, 1598-1621. 2 Souverain d'or 1613. In US-Plastikholder der NGC mit der Bewertung AU 55. GOLD. Feine Goldpatina, kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (county of Tournai, Albert and Isabelle, 1598-1621, double souverain d'or of 1613, in NGC AU-55 holder. Fine gold patina, small edge defects, very fine to extremely fine.)"

This type is listed undated (KM 23.1) and dated (KM 23.2, 1612-20). The denomination was struck until 1657 with the portrait of Philip IV (KM 55).

Recorded mintage: 5,618 for 1612-13.

Specification: 11.06 g, 0.919 fine gold.
