This specimen was lot 1764 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $261.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND: Rama V, 1868-1910, 5 satang, RS116 (1897), struck at the Heaton mint, Birmingham, PCGS graded MS64." This product of the Heaton mint was one of a series which included a 2½ satang (Y24), a five satang (shown here), a ten satang (Y26) and a twenty satang (Y27), all in copper-nickel. None are rare. One baht = four salung = 100 satang.

Recorded mintage: 5,080,000 + proofs.
