This specimen was lot 51366 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $12,000. The catalog description[1] noted,

"THAILAND. 2-1/2 Baht, ND (1894). Rama V. NGC MS-66. The single finest example of the type seen at NGC, this RARE Gem exudes tremendous eye appeal and features a much sharper strike on the chakra side than is usually encountered. A truly breathtaking specimen worthy of in-hand inspection and an elite bid."

The SCWC says this undated type was struck in 1895.
