This specimen was lot 1439 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND: Rama IV, 1851-1868, AR tamlung (4 baht), known in Thai as pod duang and as "bullet money" in English, chakra with 8 dots and mongkut countermarks, VF-XF, R, ex Dr. Robert A. Rosenfeld Collection." This issue was accompanied by a half tamlung.
