This specimen was lot 3135 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 6,250 CHF (about US$7,586 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THAILAND. Rama IV. 1851-1868. 8 Baht o. J. (1863), Bangkok. Sehr selten. NGC MS62. (kingdom of Thailand, Rama IV, 1851-68, undated baht of 1863, Bangkok mint. Very rare, uncirculated.)"
This rare piece is one of a series of gold coins which included a 2½ baht and a four baht.
