This specimen is from a type struck 1960, 1970-80 in Taiwan. It was reduced in size and redesigned in 1981. This type is common and depicts a plu blossom on the obverse and an orchid on the reverse.

Recorded mintage: 456,874,000.

Specification: 6 g, copper-nickel-zinc, 28 mm diameter.
