Switzerland 1930-B 2 rappen
This specimen was lot 3575 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 70 CHF (about US$102 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SCHWEIZ Eidgenossenschaft, 2 Rappen 1930 B, Bern. NGC MS65 RB. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (confederation of Switzerland, two rappen of 1930, Bern mint. Magnificent condition.)" This type was struck at the Bern mint 1893-1941. The design was superseded by KM 4.2b, struck 1942-46, and KM 47, struck 1948-74. The denomination is no longer issued. Many of the dates from the twentieth century are very common and this one is no exception.
