This type was struck at the Bern mint 1911-22. This is the most common date and the only one that trades as a bullion coin like its larger sister, the twenty francs (KM 35.1). A small issue of hundred franc gold pieces minted in 1925 (KM 39) used dies modified from this design.

Recorded mintage: 1,020,000.

Specification: 3.22 g, 0.900 fine gold, .0933 troy oz AGW, designed by Fritz Ulysse Landry.
