Sweden 1999-B 200 kronor
This specimen was lot 72419 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 200 Kronor, 1999-B. Carl XVI Gustaf. NGC PROOFLIKE-69. Struck to commemorate the new Millennium. This bright and flashy example exhibits crisp frosty devices with hard brilliant surfaces. Free of tone, haze or fog." In 1873, the riksdaler species was dropped and 100 öre = one krona (the krona, at 7.5 g, 0.800 fine silver, was slightly smaller than the old riksdaler riksmynt). The system adopted in 1873 is still in use today, the Swedes having recently declined to adopt the euro.

Specification: 27.03 g, 0.925 fine silver, 36 mm diameter.
