This specimen was lot 31022 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $499.38. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar II Proof 50 Ore 1907-EB, PR66 NGC. A handsome piece with aged patina and highly reflective surfaces, rare in this quality. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman / B.G. Johnson." This two year type is fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 803,340.

Specification: 5 g, 0.600 fine silver, 0.096 troy oz ASW.
