Sincona sale 38, lot 1943

This specimen was lot 1943 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEDEN, Oscar II. 1872-1907 5 Kronor 1894. Stockholm. Vorzüglich. (kingdom of Sweden, Oscar II, 1872-1907, five kronor of 1894, Stockholm mint. Extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1881-86, 1894, 1899.

Recorded mintage: 51,000, a common date.

Specification: 2.24 g, 0.900 fine gold, this specimen is 2.22 g.
