This specimen was lot 35099 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $366. The catalog description[1] noted, "Sweden: Oscar II gold 20 Kronor 1876-EB MS64 NGC. A fully lustrous coin with a strong portrait of the king." The twenty kronor was introduced as part of the reform of 1873. In 1876, the type was modified to move the privy mark and mintmaster's initials from 3 and 9 o'clock (KM 733) on the reverse to 4 and 8 o'clock (KM 744). Friedberg does not separate the two varieties. In 1877, the obverse legend was modified from "SVERIGES O. NORGES" to "SVERIGES OCH NORGES".

Recorded mintage: 240,000 (including KM 733).

Specification: 8.96 g, 0.900 fine gold, 23 mm diameter.
