Sweden 1711 1/2 daler
This specimen was lot 5113 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,169 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEDEN, KÖNIGREICH Karl XII., 1697-1718. Kupferplatte zu 1/2 Daler Silvermynt 1711, Avesta. Min. Prägeschwäche, sehr schön. (kingdom of Sweden, Charles XII, 1697-1718, copper plate of half a daler in silver coin of 1711, Avesta mint. Slightly weakly struck, very fine.)"
The famous Swedish plate money was issued from 1644 to 1776 in denominations from half a daler to four dalers. The type is listed for 1710-15 and tho less common than later issues (see KM PM65), is not rare.
