This specimen was lot 31762 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $89. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carl XI 2 Ore 1665/4-IK, VF30 NGC." In the late seventeenth century, the Swedish mints oscillated between striking this denomination in billon (shown here) and copper (KM 234). This type of 1664-69 is common in circulated condition. Eight öre made a mark.
