This specimen was lot 11047 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Copenhagen, June 2026), where it sold for €129 (about US$149). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Öre, 1660-GW. Stockholm Mint. Karl X Gustav. NGC VF-30. Pleasant example overall despite a hole through the planchet in the shield. The weight given on the holder of 10.15 gms doesn't seem right. A weight of 1.15 gms would here be a fine guess. From the L.E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck for Karl X 1654-60. A few billon öre dated 1660 but struck for Karl XI exist (KM 230).
Recorded mintage: 75,000.
Specification: 1.23 g, 0.375 fine silver, 19-20 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-212; SM-33; Delzanno-35; Bruun-12125.
