This specimen was lot 2250 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €575 (about US$664 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SURINAME, République (1975-), AV 100 gulden, 1976, Utrecht. 1er anniversaire de l'indépendance. (republic of Suriname, gold 100 gulden of 1976, Utrecht mint, first anniversary of independence. Uncirculated.)"

This NCLT also comes in red gold (KM 18b).

Recorded mintage: 19,100 plus 4,749 in proof plus 900 in red gold.

Specification: 6.72 g, 0.900 fine gold, 22 mm diameter, reeded edge. this specimen 6,67 g.
