This specimen was lot 1914 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,800 (about US$5,122 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANKREICH/ELSASS, STRASSBURG, BISTUM, Johann von Manderscheid-Blankenheim, 1569-1592. 10 Kreuzer 1575, mit Titel Maximilians II. Von großer Seltenheit. Herrliche Patina, winz. Prägeschwäche, vorzüglich. (French states, bishopric of Strasbourg, John of Manderscheid-Blankenheim, 1569-1592, ten kreuzer of 1575, struck in the name of Maximilian II. Very rare, beautiful patina, slightly weak strike, extremely fine.)"
