Pomerania in 1648, with Stralsund opposite the island of Rugen

This specimen was lot 3224 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US$1,551 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Stralsund, Unter schwedischer Besetzung, 1637-1815 Dukat 1638. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Gewellt. (Germany, city of Stralsund, under Swedish rule, ducat of 1638. Good very fine, Wavy planchet.)"

Specification: 3.5 g, 0.986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW; this specimen is 3.42 g.
