This specimen was lot 1359 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,774 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"STOLBERG, STOLBERG, GRAFSCHAFT (VOR DER TEILUNG VON 1645) Johann, 1606-1612. Reichstaler 1609, Eisleben oder Stolberg. RR Feine Patina, leichte Überprägungsspuren, sehr schön. (Germany, county of Stolberg, prior to the division of 1645, John, 1606-12, thaler of 1609, Eisleben or Stolberg mints. Rare, fine patina, lightly double struck, very fine.)"
