Sincona sale 80, lot 3274

This specimen was lot 3274 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"SPAIN | Königreich, Juan Carlos I. 1975-2014. 100 Euro 2014, Madrid. Auf die numismatischen Juwele von Granada. Nur 4'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat. (kingdom of Spain, Juan Carlos I, 1975-2014, one hundred euro of 2014, Madrid mint. On the numismatic jewel of Granada. Only 4,000 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

The numismatic jewel cited here is most likely the double excelente of Ferdinand and Isabella.
