This specimen was lot 38072 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $1,050. The catalog description[1] noted, "SLOVAKIA. Gold 5000 Korun, 1999. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo." The Kremnica mint was established by the king of Hungary at the end of the fifteenth century to strike florins from the gold of the local mines. It was later operated by the Hapsburgs, Czechoslovakia and currently by the republic of Slovakia.

Specification: 9.5 g, 0.900 fine gold, 26 mm diameter, 0.2749 troy oz AGW.
