This specimen was lot 2310 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $129.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "SIRONJ: AR rupee, Sironj, AH1168 year one (ahad). In the name of Alamgir II, choice EF, R, ex Paul Stevens Collection." Year AH 1168 = 1754-55. Sironj is one of the Tonk states between Gwalior and Bhopal; at the time this coin was issued, it was a vassal of Indore.
