This specimen was lot 75361 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "SINGAPORE. 5 Dollars, 2005. Lunar Series, Year of the Cock. Singapore Mint. GEM PROOF. Fairly SCARCE and highly dazzling, this brilliant Gem offers delightful frosting to the devices, all contrasting with intense mirroring in the fields. Includes original octagonal case of issue along with certificate of authenticity as #2092." Other five dollar coins for 2005 include KM 104.2 (circulating bimetallic issue) and its off-metal strikes (KM 104.2a, KM 104.3, KM 104.3a).

Recorded mintage: 8,000 proofs (1,419 per the SCWC).

Specification: 7.77 g, 0.999 fine gold, 0.250 troy oz AGW, 21.9 mm diameter.
