Steve Album Auction 53, lot 4025

This specimen was lot 4025 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "SINGAPORE: Republic, AR dollar, 1975, with original COA and case of issue, PCGS graded Proof 69 DCAM." This type was struck for circulation 1967-84 and for collector sets in 1985. Silver proofs as shown here exist for 1975-84.

Recorded mintage: 460,000 plus 3,000 copper-nickel proofs plus 3,000 silver proofs.

Specification: circulation issue: 16.85 g, copper-nickel, 33.32 mm diameter; proofs: 18.05 g, 0.925 fine silver.
