This 150 dollars is an NCLT ("non-circulating legal tender") commemorative of the 150th anniversary of the founding of Singapore. This specimen was lot 3453 in Goldberg sale 59 (Beverly Hills, June 2010), where it sold for $879.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Singapore. 150 Dollars, 1969. 150th Anniversary - Founding of Singapore. Raffles lighthouse. NGC graded MS-65."
Recorded mintage: 198,000 plus 500 proofs.
Specification: 24.88 g, .916 fine gold, .736 troy oz AGW, this specimen 0.7328 ounces.
