Stack's Bowers 2025 NYINC sale, lot 37390

This specimen was lot 37390 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $504. The catalog description^[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Lion, 1558. Edinburgh Mint. Mary. PCGS EF-45. From the Richard August Collection." This billon coin was 1/160 of a Scottish pound or 1½ pence. It was not struck again.
