This specimen was lot 3508 in Sincona sale 70 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$597 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Schwyz. Halbgulden (20 Schilling) 1797, Schwyz. Ovales, schmales Wappen. Mzz. S (Stedelin) rechts über Leiste. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Schwyz, half gulden or twenty schilling of 1797, Schwyz mint. Obverse: small oval arms, mintmaster's initial "S" to the right of the shield. Very fine.)"
This type accompanied a gulden (KM 53). Based on the weight, we estimate that it was worth 3/16 of a thaler.
