Schwarzenberg 1765-SNR kreuzer
This specimen was lot 1834 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$463 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Schwarzenberg, Fürstentum, Josef Adam, 1732-1782. 1 Kreuzer 1765, Nürnberg. Münzmeister Georg Nicolaus Riedner. Münzwardein Siegmund Scholz. Fast vorzüglich. (Austrian states, principality of Schwarzenberg, Joseph Adam, 1732-82, kreuzer of 1765, Nuremberg mint. About extremely fine.)"
Altho Schwarzenberg is in Franconia, north of Bayreuth, the prince's major estates were in Bohemia. When this was issued, one convention thaler was 120 kreuzer.
