The first specimen was lot 541 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, October 2010), where it sold for $488.75. The catalog description[1] noted,

"GERMAN STATES. SCHWARZENBERG. Ferdinand Wilhelm Eusebius, 1683-1703. Taler, 1696. MM. Vienna. Conjoined busts of Ferdinand and Marianna. Rv. Two Crowned, Mantled shields make up Arms. Lightly polished long ago, deep toning in recesses. Scarce type. Very Fine."

The second specimen was lot 1255 in Jean Elsen sale 116 (Brussels, March 2013), where it sold for €420 (about US$638 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[2] noted,

"SAINT EMPIRE, SCHWARZENBERG, Ferdinand Wilhelm Eusebius (1683-1703), AR Reichstaler, 1696 MM, Vienne. Mariage avec Maria Anna von Sulz. Droit: B. accolés des époux à droite. Revers: Ecus accolés et couronnés sous un dais. Provient de notre vente 87, 11 mars 2006, 2008. Provient de notre vente 87, 11 mars 2006, 2008. Très Beau (Holy Roman Empire, Schwarzenberg, Ferdinand William Eusebius (1683-1703), silver thaler of 1696, Vienna mint, commemorating his marriage. Obverse: accolated busts of couple to right; reverse: conjoined and crowned arms under a mantle. From Jean Elsen sale 87, lot 2008. Very fine.)"

The third specimen was lot 4392 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €420 (about US$550 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[3] noted,

"SCHWARZENBERG, FÜRSTEN. Ferdinand Wilhelm Eusebius, 1683-1703. Reichstaler 1696, Wien, auf seine Hochzeit mit Maria Anna, Erbin der Landgrafschaft Sulz (Klettgau). Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Dr. Karl Walter Bach, München. (Germany, principality of Schwarzenberg, Ferdinand William Eusebius, 1683-1703, thaler of 1696, Vienna mint, on his wedding to Maria Anna, heiress to the landgraviate of Sulz. Toned, very fine to extremely fine.)"

This thaler was struck in Vienna for the count of Schwarzenberg, distinguished more as a soldier in the Austrian service than as a sovereign prince. This type is the most common from this county but it is still scarce.
