SB823-55815r.jpg

This specimen was lot 55815 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $60. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. 3 Pfennig, 1870-A. Recorded mintage: 120,000, a scarcest date.

Specification: copper.

Catalog reference: KM-143.
