This specimen was lot 47159 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. Taler, 1578. Dresden Mint. August I. PCGS AU-55." This Davenport type was struck 1567-86 and is common.
