This specimen was lot 825 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $510. The catalog description[1] noted, "SAXE-COBURG-EISENACH: Johann Casimir & Johann Ernst, 1572-1633, AR thaler, Saalfeld, 1602, an attractive example, NGC graded AU50." This type was struck 1598-1612 and is fairly common. The mintmaster's initials "WA" were added in 1604. This division of the Saxon lands lasted 1572-1638. Saxe-Neu-Gotha dates from 1640.
