This specimen was lot 2125 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €3,000 (about US$4,175 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN-ALTENBURG, HERZOGTUM, Johann Philipp und Friedrich Wilhelm II. 1632-1639. Dukat 1638, Saalfeld. GOLD. R Min. gewellt, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, duchy of Saxe-Altenburg, John Philip and Frederick William II, 1632-39, ducat of 1638, Saalfeld mint. Rare, slightly wavy, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This is the only coin showing both rulers.
