This specimen was lot 31721 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $411.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic 20 Lire 1933-R, MS66 NGC. A gorgeous coin with multi-hued patina and excellent eye appeal." This type is noted for 1931-38. It was struck to the same standard as the contemporary Italian twenty lire (KM 69).
