Künker sale 264, lot 3548

This specimen was lot 3548 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €255 (about US$330 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SALZBURG, ERZBISTUM Johann Ernst von Thun und Hohenstein, 1687-1709. 1/4 Dukat 1700. GOLD. Sehr attraktives Exemplar, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, archbishopric of Salzburg, John Ernest of Thun und Hohenstein, 1687-1709, quarter ducat of 1700. Very attractive extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

The SCWC lists this rather common type for 1687-1700 and 1704-07.
