This specimen was lot 5937 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €700 (about US$905 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RWANDA, Republik. 50 Francs 1965. Präsident Grégoire Kayibanda. 13,50 g Feingold. In US-Plastikholder der NGC mit der Bewertung PF 66 ULTRA CAMEO (6631943-006). GOLD. Polierte Platte. (republic of Rwanda, fifty francs of 1965, for president Gregory Kaybanda. Proof, graded NGC PF 66 ULTRA CAMEO.)"
This rare coin sold for 102% of its bullion value. Ten, twenty-five and one hundred francs were also struck for this occasion.
