Russia 2008 100 rubles KM-Y1143
This specimen was lot 6106 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,392 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND, Republik seit 1992. 100 Rubel 2008, Moskau. Schützt unsere Welt - Biber. 1.000,00 g Feinsilber. Yeo. 1143. Nur 500 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. (republic of Russia, since 1992, one hundred rubles of 2008, Moscow mint, wildlife protection--beaver. Only 500 examples struck, proof.)"
This is one of dozens of NCLT's which congest the pages of the SCWC. The beaver appeared on a gold 200 rubles (Y1144), gold 100 rubles (Y1142), another silver 100 rubles (Y1140), a gold 50 rubles (Y1141), and a silver 25 rubles (Y1139).
