This specimen was lot 4562 in Goldberg sale 84 (Los Angeles, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia. 20 Kopeks, 1769-СПБ. Catherine II. A very lovely brilliant original mint lustrous example. NGC graded MS-63." This type was issued from St. Petersburg (shown here) and Moscow 1764-96, after which the denomination was suspended for many years.
Recorded mintage: 1,075,000.
