This specimen was lot 1162 in Jean Elsen sale 113 (Brussels, June 2012) where it sold for €17,000 (about US$25,436 including buyer's fee). The catalog description[2] noted,

"RUSSIE, Pierre le Grand (1689-1725), AV 2 roubles, 1723, Moscou. Droit : B. l., drapé et cuirassé à droite. Une palme sur la poitrine. Revers : Saint André debout de face, tenant sa croix. Très Rare. Léger défaut de flan sur la tranche. Superbe. (Russia, Peter the Great (1689-1725), gold two rubles of 1723, Moscow mint. Obverse: armored, laureate bust to right, palm below; reverse: St. Andrew standing, bearing a cross. Very rare, edge flaw, extremely fine.)"
