This specimen was lot 72927 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $423. The catalog description[1] noted, "RHODESIA. 5 Cents, 1973. NGC PROOF-68 CAMEO. RARE, from a reported mintage of only 10 pieces. Hard mirror fields with frosted cameo devices. Full mint brilliance and highly attractive." This type of 1973 only is common but the proofs are rare. It was accompanied by a half cent, 2½ cents, one cent, ten cents, twenty cents and twenty-five cents. Rhodesia is now Zimbabwe.

Recorded mintage: unknown but large number of business strikes + 10 proofs.
