Regensburg 1528 10 kreuzer KM-MB36
This specimen was lot 3021 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €160 (about US$210 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS KARL V., 1520-1556. Prägungen aus der ersten Regensburger Münzperiode bis 1534 nach der bayerischen Münzordnung von 1506/1507. 10 Kreuzer 1528, mit Titel Karls V. Münzmeister Hans Lutz. Sehr schön +. (city of Regensburg, ten kreuzer of 1528, struck in the name of Charles V. Very fine or better.)"
At this time, ten kreuzer was one-sixth of a gulden or thaler. This type was struck 1527-32. Other ten kreuzer were struck for the bishop of Regensburg (KM MB34).
