This specimen was lot 716 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €700 (about US$969 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1840. Taler 1823, A. Prachtexemplar. Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William III, 1797-1840, thaler of 1823. Proof example, uncirculated.)"

This is a common date of a type struck 1823-26 at Berlin (shown here) and Düsseldorf.
