This specimen was lot 24688 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "PORTUGAL. 1/2 Tornes de Escudo, ND. Fernando I (1367-83). PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, EF Details. Light surface porosity with attractive soft grey tone. An attractive example despite the noted defects."
