This specimen was lot 33619 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "People's Republic gold Proof 'John Paul II Pilgrimage' 100 Zlotych 1999-MW PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, Warsaw mint. Fully enticing in the manner that only a proof can be." Yet another NCLT honoring pope John Paul II. In 1994, the zloty was reformed and 10,000 old zlotych = one new zlotych.

Recorded mintage: 7,000.

Specification: 8 g, 0.900 fine gold, 21 mm diameter, AGW 0.2315 oz.
